Job Summary
Develop and execute analyses to evaluate business challenges, identify opportunities, and improve organizational outcomes through advanced statistical techniques and quantitative methods. Partner with stakeholders to scope complex questions, translate needs into analytical approaches, and deliver actionable insights that inform decision-making. Lead large, cross-functional projects from problem definition through execution, setting direction for initiatives where predefined metrics or benchmarks do not exist. Serve as a trusted advisor to HR and business leaders on talent, culture, and organizational health, connecting insights across multiple analyses to identify themes and trends. Present findings through compelling data storytelling and visualization to executive audiences while mentoring less experienced analysts. Work remotely or hybrid, coming into the office two days per week if located within 50 miles of Boston, MA; Portsmouth, NH; Seattle, WA; Indianapolis, IN; Columbus, OH; or Plano, TX.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, Computer Science, Industrial/Organical Psychology, Information Management, or another quantitative discipline
- Master's degree preferred
- For candidates with a master's degree, a minimum of 5 years of applied business analytics experience
- For candidates with a bachelor's degree, a minimum of 7 years of applied business analytics experience or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated success applying advanced analytics, statistical methods, and data-driven problem-solving to complex business challenges
- Deep knowledge of data sources, analytical methodologies, and business drivers
- Expertise in data querying, analysis, and visualization tools, including SQL, Python, R, Power BI, and related analytical technologies
- Experience working with modern cloud-based data platforms such as Snowflake, Azure, or similar technologies
- Strong ability to translate complex analytical concepts into clear business recommendations for non-technical audiences
- Proven ability to independently lead large-scale, cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders across multiple levels of the organization
- Highly developed communication, facilitation, presentation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills
- Strong planning, decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to balance analytical rigor and business practicality
- Candidates who live within 50 miles of Boston, MA; Portsmouth, NH; Seattle, WA; Indianapolis, IN; Columbus, OH; or Plano, TX will follow a hybrid schedule, coming into the office two days per week. Otherwise, this role is remote.
