Job Summary
Plan community-based global learning activities with faculty, develop course schedules for J-term, and design seminar itineraries for regional travel. Organize logistics for off-campus trips, manage visa procurement, and conduct feasibility visits to secure community partnerships and assess safety needs. Deliver orientation workshops for students and faculty, cultivate local contacts for internships and research, and maintain databases of community resources. Support budget planning, host VIP campus visits, and liaise with Finance, HR, and Student Affairs to implement UAE-focused programs. Develop annual reports, archive engagement data, and enhance social media presence for Community-Based Learning initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- 3+ years in a cross-cultural setting based in the UAE
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Planning /implementing special events and activities
- Excellent community network of contacts and/or proven ability to develop such a network
- Experience working with the Emirati and Arabic-speaking community
- Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic (both verbal and written) and the ability to work with people at all levels
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and database applications
