Job Summary
The Dining Room Supervisor oversees the dining room operations for a senior living community, supervising server staff to ensure a clean, pleasant atmosphere and delivering superior service to residents, associates, and guests. Responsibilities include supervising servers, managing dining room function and linen stock, ensuring appropriate lighting and presentation, coordinating special functions, communicating with residents, assisting in set-ups and service, taking and serving food, ensuring proper care of dining room equipment, directing cleaning of work areas, creating and managing server schedules, and working with the dining room team to provide efficient operation. The role emphasizes infection-control practices, resident rights, safety procedures, appropriate dress code, dependability on scheduled shifts, and willingness to perform other duties as needed. High school diploma or GED and English proficiency are required, along with completion of drug testing and a criminal background check upon hire or request.
