Job Summary
Assistant Dietary Supervisor position responsible for preparing meals per federal, state, and local standards and policies, assisting Dietary Manager with managerial duties, supervision and compliance with safety, sanitation, and infection-control procedures, menu review and dietary planning, and ensuring correct diet orders and timely meal service. Requires ServSafe certification and ability to follow established policies, maintain confidentiality, supervise staff, and coordinate with Nursing Services for therapeutic diets and dietary changes; incumbent will assist in maintaining a clean, safe kitchen and ensure equipment and supplies are available and properly stored. Strong focus on food safety, regulatory compliance, documentation, and collaborating with residents, families, and staff to deliver high-quality, palatable meals.
