Job Summary
Assist the Dietary Manager and Dietitian in planning, organizing, developing, and directing the overall operation of the Dietary Department in accordance with federal, state, and local standards. Ensure quality nutritional services are provided daily while maintaining the department in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner. This role requires a high school diploma, accredited dietetic training, and at least two years of supervisory experience in a hospital or skilled nursing facility, along with training in cost control and food management. Candidates must be registered as a Food Service Director in the state. Required Qualifications
- high school diploma
- graduate of an accredited course in dietetic training approved by the American Dietetic Association
- 2 year(s) experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility, or other related medical facility
- training in cost control, food management, diet therapy
- registered as a Food Service Director in this state
