Job Summary
Assist the Dietary Manager with daily operations, including staff scheduling, assignments, and department coverage. Supervise, train, and mentor dietary staff while ensuring meals are prepared and served according to residents' dietary needs and physician orders. Support menu planning, maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, and manage documentation, audits, and quality assurance records. Monitor food safety, sanitation, and inventory levels while addressing resident concerns to ensure a positive dining experience. Provide leadership and support when the manager is unavailable. Requires Skilled Nursing Facility dietary experience, leadership skills, and knowledge of food safety standards. Competitive pay of $29.00–$31.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or healthcare dietary setting
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of food safety, nutrition, sanitation, and healthcare dietary requirements
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Desired Qualifications
- Leadership or supervisory experience
- ServSafe certification
- Willingness and ability to work toward obtaining Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification
