Job Summary
Assistant Dietary Manager supports the Dietary Manager in overseeing daily food-service operations in a Skilled Nursing Facility, providing leadership to the dietary team, ensuring food quality, safety, and regulatory compliance, managing staffing and scheduling, collaborating with facility staff and vendors, and assisting with dietary plans and MDS documentation. Key duties include recruiting/training/coaching staff, ensuring HACCP-compliant food handling, supervising menu production and therapeutic diet requirements, maintaining dietary records, and supporting RD collaboration and clinical documentation; strong communication and intermediate computer skills are required.
