Job Summary
Assistant Development Manager based in Brisbane CBD, hybrid role, supports end-to-end delivery of residential and mixed-use development projects—from feasibility through to completion—driving defined workstreams, coordinating consultants and design inputs, managing planning approvals, construction delivery, budgeting and cashflow forecasting, and supporting marketing and sales. Requires a tertiary qualification in Property, Construction, Planning or related discipline and 2–5 years’ experience in property development or project delivery; strong commercial/financial acumen; ability to manage contractors and consultants; travel to project sites (Gold Coast) and Melbourne head office as required; proficient in MS Office and project systems (Estate Master & Aconex desirable).
Required Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Property, Construction, Planning or a related discipline
- 2–5 years’ experience in property development or project delivery
- Experience contributing to residential, mixed-use or master-planned developments
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, including feasibility, budgeting and risk assessment
- Proven ability to manage consultants and contractors
- Sound understanding of planning approvals and statutory requirements
- Analytical with attention to detail and problem-solving
- Strong stakeholder engagement and reporting skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and project systems – Estate Master & Aconex desirable
- Current driver’s licence with ability to travel
