Job Summary
Assist in researching, developing, and designing ASOS DESIGN ranges, identifying key shapes, colours, and fabrics for the season to offer a global, trend-forward product. Translate inspiration into first-to-market pieces, work with the technical team on initial fits, and help solve design challenges. Build relations with suppliers and advise factories on trend direction, construction, materials, and trims. Adhere to the critical path to ensure product development aligns with the relevant selling period and contribute to long lead-time and quick-reaction test and react ranges.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in designing for Womenswear, Footwear or Accessories
- Strong fashion handwriting aligned to the ASOS customer
- Strong time management
- Willingness to travel in the UK and potentially internationally for supplier meetings and development trips
- Excellent computer skills: Photoshop, Adobe, CAD, Miro, AI design
