Job Summary
Assistant Designer for Women's Woven Tops & Dresses at Levi Strauss & Co. Hybrid role based in San Francisco headquarters. You will support the design process from concept through production, reporting to the Senior Designer and partnering with another Assistant Designer. Responsibilities include sustaining brand look, assisting designers to meet targets for seasonal calendar and assortment, supporting fit, fabric, sundries and trim developments, contributing to seasonal design platforms through market research, and collaborating with Merchandising, Product Development and Sourcing to ensure products are engineered to profit and quality goals. Create detailed garment sketches in Adobe Illustrator. Requirements include 2+ years design experience, garment-construction knowledge, proficiency in Photoshop/Illustrator, and strong cross-team collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a design environment
- Experience with garment construction
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator; able to create detailed technical flats
- Collaborative across teams and levels
