Assistant Designer –Lead Designer - Mechanical

Mechanical Designer leading small- to medium-scale projects and contributing to larger, complex designs. Responsibilities include independently designing portions of projects, preparing mechanical specifications and site take-offs, coordinating with utilities and municipalities, obtaining supplier information and incorporating it into designs, drafting in AutoCAD and Revit, reviewing shop drawings, and providing technical direction to junior designers. Requires a university degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent diploma) and 5+ years of buildings design experience in HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, and Fire Protection, with strong knowledge of building codes and industry standards. Strong collaboration and communication skills, and the ability to work across multiple projects in a hybrid work environment with relocation support.
