Job Summary
Assist in designing handbags in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Responsibilities include researching global markets to identify seasonal trends, developing concepts and sketches for the product line, creating tech packs, and coordinating with cross-functional teams (Merchandising, Production, Technical Design, GIS, Visual Merchandising, and Marketing) to ensure concept-to-store execution. Ensure execution, quality, and margin targets while refining sketches and design packages based on feedback; manage administrative tasks to keep the design process organized and on deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of silhouette, fit, fabrication, construction, color use, sewing techniques, and trim
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to develop concepts and sketches for product line and create tech packs
