Job Summary
Train and develop Product Sales Specialists while ensuring exceptional customer service and product information delivery. Direct all associates to maintain accurate merchandising, pricing, and organization, and provide instruction on the basic P's of retail including People, Position, Product, Presentation, Price, Promotion, Purchasing. Process check-outs, refunds, and exchanges using the POS system, validate product placement, and create price tags and merchandise signs. Greet every customer, answer phones per guidelines, and present 'how-to' classes. Complete product specialist certification courses, Industrial Truck proficiency testing, and communicate inventory needs to management. Work Monday through Sunday in a warehouse environment handling merchandise, with 401k matching and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year of customer service/sales experience
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to drive
- Industrial Truck (forklift) proficiency testing and certification
- Ability to exert 30 – 60 pounds of force occasionally, and or 20-30 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry push, pull, or otherwise move objects
- Ability to use hands and fingers to handle or feel
- Ability to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
