• •Ability to attend and participate as instructed at all safety and driver's meetings
• •Ability to complete all the special attention items the Sales Department has communicated to you
• •Ability to assist with direction and execute the Delivery Department training program, and implement the continuing education of employees to ensure the professional and consistent performance from the team
• •Ability to implement corrective action and/or disciplinary plans for assigned Team employees with assistance from Delivery Manager as needed
• •Ability to assist, conduct, and report safety / accident investigations, for the department, following the guidelines of the Company's process and/or procedure
• •Ability to participate in Company safety committee meetings, and safety projects as assigned
• •Ability to have a working knowledge of all routes and, if necessary, fill-in during vacancies, sick, and vacation leave
• •Ability to assist with special events
• •Ability to conduct assigned Work-With's to observe, critique, and improve delivery performance
• •Ability to review and adjust daily (when necessary) the work assignments of assigned Team
• •Ability to oversee and conduct all performance reviews for assigned Team
• •Ability to assist Delivery Manager with recruitment, interviews, and hiring of prospective employees, and with approval of Managing Director
• •Ability to ensure all assigned Team Delivery Drivers adhere to DOT policies
• •Ability to ensure that all assigned Team employees adhere to all company policies and procedures
• •Ability to perform all work activities in accordance to established safe work practices, and all Company policies and procedures
• •Ability to manage assigned Team headcount, updated organization chart, and KOI tracking requirements
• •Ability to stand-in during any absence of the Delivery Manager to fulfill the needs of the department
• •Ability to assist in managing the department to ensure timely deliveries, proper rotation, merchandising, customer service, safe driving, and vehicle maintenance
• •Ability to work side by side with Delivery Manager to assist with Management of the Delivery Department, and held accountable to the department KOIs, goals, and objectives set by the Company
• •Ability to keep shelves and vendors clean
• •Ability to place product on hand truck or dolly (approximately 20 to 50 lbs per case)
• •Ability to push/pull hand truck to machine or shelves and loads appropriate product
• •Ability to climb in and out of vehicle and proper lifting techniques
• •Ability to maintain a positive working relationship with the owners, managers and employees of all assigned accounts
• •Ability to maintain open and clear communications with the owners, managers, and other employees of the company
• •Ability to monitor, track and train proper operation, protection from damage, and return of all equipment that has been issued to you and assigned team
