Job Summary
Oversee daily deli operations by executing merchandising plans, managing inventory, and ensuring strict compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Prepare, slice, cook, and package deli items while maintaining full, fresh, and visually appealing service case displays. Build and manage schedules aligned with sales volume, then hire, train, and coach associates to drive department readiness and customer satisfaction. Resolve customer questions and special requests in a fast-paced environment while reviewing sales and labor data to support planning. This role supports Albertsons Companies' mission to build the future of food and well-being through quality service and team leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in hot and cold temperature environments
- Ability to safely operate slicers, ovens, knives, scales, and cleaning tools
- Flexible availability including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Reliable attendance
