Job Summary
The Assistant Food Service Manager plays a key role in operating the food department, focusing on customer service while ensuring high industry standards are met. Responsibilities include managing food product offerings ranging from baked goods to BBQ, resolving customer issues, and overseeing food service employees. Candidates should have management experience, preferably in a food service environment, and must be proficient in food preparation and sanitation. A Bachelor's degree and experience with MS Office and POS systems are preferred. This role requires availability to work weekends and holidays and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of relevant Food Service experience
- Ability to perform job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
- Experience managing food service employees
- Proficiency in customer service and conflict resolution
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local foodservice laws
