Job Summary
Assistant Food Service Manager at Buc-ee's in Royse City, TX. Responsible for assisting with every aspect of operating the department with a focus on Clean, Friendly, and In Stock pillars. Duties include managing offerings (Jerky, Smoked Meats, Sausage, BBQ, Bakery, Sandwiches, Grab and Go, Tacos, Burritos, Hot Dogs), resolving customer issues in a friendly, professional manner, ensuring compliance with federal/state/local laws, supervising food service staff, maintaining safety and quality, and generating operating reports. Requires experience in high-volume, fast-paced restaurants; bachelor degree preferred; 5+ years of relevant food service experience preferred; proficiency in MS Office (Excel & Outlook) and POS devices; willingness to relocate; ability to work weekends/holidays; physical stamina for prolonged standing and manual tasks. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant Food Service experience preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel & Outlook)
- Experienced in various POS and transaction devices (Kiosks, Printers, Tickets, Touch Screens)
- Acquire and maintain food service certifications
- Work weekends and holidays
- Prolonged walking or standing for 8 hours or more
