Job Summary
Provide leadership in the nursing program by delivering instruction for theory and clinical courses while ensuring curricula remain current and conducive to learning. Manage scheduling and execution of PAC meetings, coordinate faculty orientation and mentoring, and maintain Canvas course shells for consistency. Support the Dean in managing academic reporting, resource inventory, and accreditation preparation, including exporting and analyzing EOC surveys and SLOs. Ensure all Nursing policies are implemented consistently across the program and collaborate with internal resources to secure clinical partnerships. Supervise student conduct in classrooms, labs, and clinical sites while addressing student academic issues and concerns.
Required Qualifications
- Idaho BON
- Master of Science Degree in Nursing (MSN)
- Idaho RN
- BLS for Healthcare Providers
- Have evidence of experience in education, administration, and practice sufficient to administer the program
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand
- Must be able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel
- Must be able to reach with hands and arms
- Must be able to talk
- Must be able to hear and speak
- Must be able to walk
- Must be able to sit
- Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Must be able to climb or balance
- Must be able to be exposed to moving mechanical parts
- Must be able to be occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals
- Must be able to be exposed to a noise level that is usually moderate
- Must be willing to undergo a thorough background screening
- Must be willing to undergo education verification
- Must be willing to undergo county and national criminal background checks
- Must be willing to undergo a motor vehicle report
- Must be willing to undergo social security number trace/verification
- Must be willing to undergo an address history search
- Must be willing to undergo drug testing
- Must be willing to undergo a Fraud and Abuse Control Information System check
- Must be willing to undergo verification for access to the National Student Loan Database System
