Job Summary
Oversee all aspects of enrollment services and processes, providing vision, supervision, implementation, and evaluation of student-centered recruitment and selection. Liaise with central admissions and communications offices, interpret data regarding recruitment and application, and develop department-wide strategies and activities. Initiate the planning and design of the research agenda and recruitment calendar, while overseeing the review, evaluation, and reporting of admissions applications and credentials. Identify marketing messaging opportunities to increase visibility, representing the school or department at special recruitment events. Supervise all unit staff and daily operations, maintaining close working relationships with the university community.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 6 years experience
- Bachelor's degree in business management, administration, higher education, or a related field
- Six years' experience in admissions and recruitment at an academic or higher education institution
- Extensive experience in a leadership or management role in higher education
- solid knowledge of transfer credit policies and financial aid programs
- Deft ability to gather, analyze, evaluate and assess large amounts of physical and digital data
- Skilled in interviewing, counseling, conflict resolution, problem-solving, and decision-making
- Proven ability to interpret, analyze, and apply pertinent policies, procedures, regulations, and requirements
- Skilled at organization, with astute attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and diplomatic skills for communicating tactfully with all levels of staff, media, and diverse individuals and groups
- Ability to lead and guide diverse, high-performing teams
- Exemplary written and oral communication and presentation skills
- experience developing communication plans, instructional materials and related content
- Solid organizational skills
