Job Summary
Conduct outreach and communication with families, plan and coordinate curriculum, and facilitate engaging student activities. Supervise school-aged children indoors and outdoors, maintain an orderly environment, and take attendance to ensure all students are accounted for. Assist students with learning activities and homework assignments while serving as direct administrative support to the Aftercare Coordinator/Director. May serve as second in charge in the absence of the Aftercare Coordinator/Director. Understand and implement emergency procedures, including safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Tuberculosis Clearance
- Department of Justice Fingerprint/Background Clearance criminal records summary
- Ability to work well with school-aged students
- Comfortable leading academic and enrichment activities with students
- Inform and communicate effectively
- Ability to work with diverse population
- Sitting or standing for extended periods of time
- Hearing and speaking to communicate and exchange information
- Seeing to observe accuracy of reports and documents
- Dexterity of hand and finger to operate office equipment
- Bending at the waist, kneeling, and reaching overhead, above shoulders and horizontally to retrieve and store files and other items as needed
Desired Qualifications
