Job Summary
Assist in the preparation, serving, and cleanup of meals for senior residents under the supervision of the Food Service Manager and Cook. Follow DOH-approved recipes and food safety procedures; maintain sanitation of kitchen, storage, and dining areas; assist with receiving and storing deliveries; support dining room supervision during meals; assist with meal preparation in the Cook's absence; work as part of a team to ensure nutritious, appealing meals are provided to residents.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or General equivalency diploma required
- NYC Food Handlers Certificate
- At least 6 months of cooking and meal preparation experience
