Job Summary
Assist in all areas of production, serving, and cleanup within the Food and Nutrition department. Perform cashiering duties during lunch when needed. Interact positively with co-workers, administration, scholars, parents, and the community. Maintain professional appearance and adhere to sanitation and food handling procedures. Report directly to the Kitchen Manager and perform other duties as assigned. Regular on-time, in-person attendance is essential.
Required Qualifications
- Food service production experience or the ability to learn
- Willingness to be trained in all areas of food production
- Knowledge of, or be willing to learn, proper sanitation and food handling procedures
- Consistently demonstrate dependable attendance and punctuality
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and effectively as part of a team
- Ability to collaborate effectively with both scholars and staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment
- Must maintain a professional appearance in accordance with Departmental Uniform and Personal Hygiene guidelines
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
