Job Summary
Assist the Cook in preparing and serving meals in accordance with established menus and nutritional guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, equipment, and serving areas. Help with inventory, food storage, and restocking of supplies while following all food safety, sanitation, and personal hygiene standards. Support meal service in a busy, student-centered cafeteria environment and perform other duties as assigned. This part-time role follows the school calendar with no nights, weekends, or holidays. Previous food service experience is preferred, and a valid ServSafe certification is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Must be able to work in a noisy, fast-paced school cafeteria environment

- Ability to work well in a team
Desired Qualifications
- Previous food service or kitchen experience
- Previous food service or kitchen experience, especially in a school or institutional setting
- A valid ServSafe certification
