Job Summary
Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, annual budgets, audits, and system implementation while supporting operations personnel with daily, weekly, and monthly metric calculations. Ride along with drivers and the sales team to understand business facets, and sit with Customer Service Representatives to familiarize yourself with the billing system. Provide necessary support to District Managers as a true business partner. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills, and relocation for advancement. This role offers tremendous internal growth within Waste Connections, a large solid waste services company serving the U.S. and Canada.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Must be a self-starter with the initiative to learn and a great work ethic
- Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Excel and related accounting business systems
- Relocation for advancement or promotional opportunities
- Relocation is required as a condition of employment
