Job Summary
Assistant Controller responsible for owning the accounting function, driving the month-end close process, leading a team of four, and collaborating with senior leadership in a fast-moving luxury retail environment. Experience with month-end close ownership, inventory accounting/COGS, multi-entity consolidations, and GAAP/internal controls is required. CPA preferred; D365 experience a plus. On-site role based in Hollywood, CA with 5 days in the office.
Required Qualifications
- 8–12+ years of progressive accounting experience with direct supervisory responsibility (4+ reports)
- Proven ownership of month-end close — not participation, ownership
- Exposure to inventory accounting, COGS, and/or multi-entity/international consolidations
- Background in manufacturing, retail, consumer products, luxury goods, or apparel
- GAAP fluency and internal controls experience
- CPA preferred; D365 experience a plus
