Job Summary
Oversee technical general ledger accounting, GAAP-compliant financial reporting, and timely close processes; lead and develop the Accounts Payable team; drive process improvements and strong internal controls; provide financial analysis and partnerships with operational leadership to guide budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making; develop reporting tools/dashboards and support external audits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including experience in public accounting
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements
- Experience managing general ledger accounting and month-end close processes
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems
- Preferred: CPA license
- Experience in NetSuite
- Experience supervising or managing accounting staff
- Experience with process improvement initiatives and accounting system implementations
- Background in both public accounting and corporate accounting environments
