Job Summary
Assist Controller to manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close with precise journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting packages; oversee SEC reporting (Forms 10-Q and 10-K) and maintain GAAP compliance; lead manufacturing accounting activities including standard costing, variance analysis, inventory valuation, BOM reconciliation, and cost-accuracy initiatives; monitor inventory across multiple sites, oversee cycle counts and inventory controls, and provide visibility into KPIs and financial drivers at line and plant levels; coordinate external audits, strengthen internal controls, and participate in ERP/financial systems initiatives; mentor accounting team members and collaborate with cross-functional partners to translate financial and operational data into actionable insights for non-financial leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA designation strongly preferred
- 5 to 10 years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience
- GAAP knowledge
- experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred)
- SEC reporting experience preferred
- Strong Excel and financial analysis skills
