Job Summary
Assistant Controller at Pagaya responsible for assisting in the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance, performing financial valuation analysis, managing month-end and year-end closes (reconciliations, journal entries, accruals), collaborating on budgets and forecasts, and supporting corporate accounting, SOX enforcement, process improvements, and interaction with bookkeepers and controllers; requires CPA from a Big 4 firm with experience in hi-tech/fintech, strong US GAAP knowledge, accuracy, attention to detail, and proficient use of accounting software and Excel.
Required Qualifications
- CPA from a Big 4 firm, Hi-tech / Fin-tech companies experience.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
- Accurate and detailed oriented with a high level of analytical and professional skills.
- Highly motivated and committed.
- Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Fluent in English.
- ERP knowledge (preferable NetSuite) - an advantage.
- Proficient in using accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Desired Qualifications
- CPA from a Big 4 firm
- Hi-tech / Fin-tech experience
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting
- Regulatory compliance experience
- ERP knowledge (NetSuite: advantageous)
- Excellent Excel skills
