Job Summary
Assistant Controller responsible for daily management and reporting of construction projects, owning the accounting function including operational and project accounting, overseeing the general ledger, preparing WIP and job-cost reports, payroll, and monthly/quarterly financial reporting, and evaluating accounting procedures to maintain a strong control environment in a multifamily construction context.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience
- at least 2 years in a senior or management level
- Construction accounting experience
- experience preparing WIP reports
- strong Excel skills
- Procore experience is a plus
- ADP experience is a plus
- Associate degree in accounting or finance minimum
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
