Job Summary
Support year-end audits with external accounting firms, create Annual Operational Plans, and support monthly financial metrics and Capital NPV business cases. Oversee financial and accounting close processes, consolidate budgets, and manage staff at assigned plants to drive results. Analyze General Ledger accounts, identify discrepancies, and leverage technology to generate insights and cost reduction opportunities. Maintain internal controls through process reviews and ensure compliance with GAAP and corporate accounting principles. This role requires a Bachelor's degree, 5+ years in manufacturing cost accounting, and proficiency with Oracle and advanced Excel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting or relevant experience
- Minimum 5 years in a manufacturing environment with a CPG firm
- manufacturing cost accounting experience
- Strong technical and analytical capabilities
- proficiency with ERP/accounting systems (e.g., Oracle)
- advanced Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, Power Query, data modeling)
