Job Summary
Hands-on accounting role supporting construction project accounting, billing, payroll, and reporting. Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes; prepare and assist with financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring. Manage job costing, WIP, AIA/progress billings, revenue tracking, A/R and AP processes, payroll processing, and internal controls. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial operations and provide opportunities to grow into a Controller-level role as the company scales.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of construction accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of job costing, WIP reporting, project accounting, billing, cost tracking, change orders, and labor burden
- Experience with QuickBooks
- Other construction accounting software experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
