Job Summary
Assistant Controller for Thomson Reuters India entities with a 12-month fixed-term contract. Responsible for managing local statutory and tax compliance, coordinating with outsourced accounting and tax providers, ensuring timely month-end close, and maintaining strong internal controls in line with global policies. Will liaise with auditors, support tax packs and quarterly/annual tax provisions, and collaborate with Tax and Transfer Pricing teams. The role requires strong SAP experience, data analytics capability (Power BI, Alteryx), and professional accountancy qualifications. Hybrid work model (2-3 days per week in office) based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
Required Qualifications
- Professional accountancy or finance qualification (CPA, CMA, CA/ICWA, MBA (Fin) or similar)
- 1-4 years of post qualification experience
- CA Final freshers can apply
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP
- Experience with data analytics tools (Power BI, Alteryx) and MS Office
