Job Summary
Assist the Regional Controller with preparing financial statements, tracking capital projects, and managing maintenance budgets. Process General Ledger entries, journal transactions, and invoice payments while setting up new vendors and customers. Extract and manipulate ERP data to create dashboards, KPIs, and actionable business insights for management. Prepare monthly and quarterly SOX reviews and support standard costing updates. Perform data uploads and reviews to ensure accuracy in GAAP-compliant reporting. Requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, three years of manufacturing experience, and proficiency in MS Office and SAP.
Required Qualifications
- at least 3 years of manufacturing experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or other business-related field
- 3 years of manufacturing experience in Accounting/Finance
- Strong background in Excel
- Knowledgeable in GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Strong ability to extract, analyze, and interpret large datasets from ERP systems to support financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, costing, and operational decision-making
- Cross-department communication and cooperation skills
- Detail oriented with a commitment to accuracy
- Strong organizational, problem solving, and analytical skills
- Frequently required to walk, stand, sit, climb, balance, stoop, bend, and kneel
- Occasionally lifts up to 10 lbs
- Long periods spent sitting at a desk in front of a computer screen
- Regularly required reach with hands and arms
- Job functions will be carried out in an office environment
Desired Qualifications
- preferably knowledge of SAP accounting software
- Experience with JDE is a plus
- SAP accounting software knowledge
- JDE experience is a plus
- Strong data management and reporting skills with the ability to transform ERP data into actionable business insights
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
