Job Summary
Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and regulations. Support the development and maintenance of the annual budget and periodic forecasting. Collaborate with other departments to gather data, analyze variances, and provide financial insights for decision-making. Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard assets, mitigate financial risks, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Monitor and reconcile general ledger accounts, investigating and resolving any discrepancies. Analyze financial data, perform variance analysis, and prepare financial reports to highlight key performance indicators. Provide insights and recommendations to management based on the analysis. Participate in audits, both internal and external, and coordinate responses to audit inquiries. Manage the Billings department, preserving timeliness and accuracy guidelines. Evaluate and enhance financial systems and processes to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and enhance accuracy in financial reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in accounting or finance
- preferably in the healthcare industry or a similar field
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory compliance in the healthcare industry
- Experience with corporate/payroll tax handling
- Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems
- Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving environment
