Job Summary
Oversee daily Finance Department operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and General Ledger activity. Lead month-end and year-end close processes, prepare financial statements across all entities, and assist with audits, 990 filings, and tax returns. Build annual budgets, support quarterly forecasting, and develop internal controls while training staff on proper procedures. Manage and coach the Finance team, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; 7+ years of experience with GAAP and general ledger systems preferred. Reports directly to the CFO.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 7+ years of accounting experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP, accrual accounting, and auditing practices
- High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information
- Team-oriented, collaborative, and able to lead and support others
- Curious and committed to continuous learning and improvement

Desired Qualifications
- CPA and/or MBA
- Public accounting experience
- Corporate accounting experience
- Previous experience managing or supervising a team
- Experience with general ledger systems (Sage Intacct)
- Advanced Excel skills
- Comfortable working with large datasets and using advanced Excel functions
- Highly organized with strong time management skills and attention to detail
- Proven ability to deliver in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Strong analytical thinking and business judgment
- Clear and effective communicator, both written and verbal
