Job Summary
Assistant Contract Surveyor needed to support commercial operations by managing costs, driving value, and ensuring smooth delivery of construction projects. You’ll assist in cash flow management and cost control with accurate reporting of costs and financial projections, support procurement by preparing subcontractor orders aligned with programme requirements and project budgets, collaborate with Production and Technical leads to identify risks and opportunities within designs and work packages, contribute to subcontractor account management including valuations, re-measurements, and timely payments, produce detailed cost valuations and financial reports, and support final accounts preparation. Ideal candidates are degree-qualified or working towards a relevant qualification, with solid cost control, procurement, and construction process knowledge, ISO9001 and Health & Safety familiarity, strong organisation and communication skills, and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset. Required Qualifications
- Degree-qualified or working towards a qualification in a relevant field
- Solid understanding of cost control, procurement, and construction processes
- Good knowledge of ISO9001 Quality Management Systems and Health & Safety practices
- Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and collaborative approach to teamwork
