Job Summary
Assistant Construction Project Manager to support project execution, financial tracking, document control, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and field operations across multiple commercial construction projects; work closely with Project Managers and field teams from preconstruction through completion, assisting with buyout logs, JCRs, change orders, procurement, vendor and subcontractor coordination, and maintaining project documentation; provide weekly progress reports, support field change management, and contribute to continuous improvement of project workflows and processes; requires collaboration with owners, architects, contractors, and internal teams, as well as travel to project sites as needed; qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field, 2+ years of experience in related roles, strong Excel skills, experience with MS Project/Primavera P6/Smartsheet, proficiency in Bluebeam and Microsoft Office, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in construction project management, construction coordination, assistant project management, project engineering, or related roles
- Strong Microsoft Excel proficiency including pivot tables, lookups, formulas, reporting, and dashboard creation
- Experience utilizing project scheduling software including MS Project, Primavera P6, or Smartsheet
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam
- Experience preparing and maintaining project documentation, financial reports, job cost tracking, change orders, subcontracts, RFIs, submittals, and project records
- Experience supporting subcontractor coordination, procurement tracking, vendor management, and construction project administration
- Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and project workstreams simultaneously
- Ability to travel 25% to 50% based on project requirements
