Job Summary
Assistant Construction Manager will assist the Construction Project Manager, Project Manager, Site Manager, and/or the EPC Project Manager or Program Manager with day-to-day management of project safety, quality, schedule, cost control, contracts, subcontractors, and procurement for EPC projects across aviation, commercial, energy, and water sectors. Responsibilities include developing plans (Project Execution, Quality Assurance, Safety & Health, Subcontracting, Staffing, Organization Chart, Procurement), negotiating and executing prime contracts and change orders, site mobilization/demobilization, securing permits, supporting bidder registrations, preparing RFPs, managing drawings/releases and design changes, handling RFI/submittals/meeting minutes, cost reporting, schedule tracking, invoicing support, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and project policies. Requires collaboration with client and project teams, risk reviews, and experience across multiple industries; travel is specified as 100% for this role. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field and at least 3 years of construction experience; proficient in MS Office and project-management/document-control practices.
