Job Summary

The Assistant Company Secretary will be involved in managing corporate legal administration and compliance for group companies across Asia Pacific, Middle East, and Africa. Core duties include drafting and reviewing legal documents, handling corporate governance, and managing a portfolio of companies. Candidates should have 5-8 years of relevant experience, particularly in Singapore corporate secretarial practice. The ideal candidate will possess a law degree, ICSA qualification, and strong communication skills, with a hands-on approach to administrative tasks.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 – 8 years of relevant work experience
  • Relevant academic background; law degree and/or professional qualification (eg. ICSA) preferred
  • Experience with Singapore corporate secretarial practice and relevant company law principles
  • Demonstrable ability to work independently and manage a busy workload
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with standard MS Office computer software
  • Meticulous, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working with other legal jurisdictions, especially in the region
  • Fluent in other languages (desirable)
  • Proficiency with Computershare, GEMS or other company secretarial software
