Assistant Community School Director

Job Summary
Coordinate weekly cabinet meetings with school leadership to align partner work with the Community School Plan and track progress on goals. Lead initiatives for mental health services, prevention programs, and expanded learning time while developing new partnerships with organizations and programs. Manage case conferencing for students with barriers, interpret bi-weekly data to inform decision-making, and target interventions to improve attendance and school culture. Foster relationships with parents, teachers, and stakeholders to ensure understanding of community school support systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors' Degree in Education, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Non-Profit Management, Public Administration or other related fields
- At least two (2) years working with adolescents in an urban environment providing services that reduce barriers, facilitate educational success and social emotional well-being in school-based programs

- Use of the internet required in online reporting systems for data entry
- Ability to administer outcomes-based youth programming
- Ability to plan youth programming
- Ability to staff youth programming
- Ability to budget for youth programming
- Ability to maintain accurate client and programmatic records
- Ability to stand for extended periods (1-4 hours)
- Ability to walk and move frequently around program space
- Ability to lift materials up to 20 pounds
- Ability to lift heavier items up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to travel to different program locations within the local area occasionally
- Mon-Fri, 9:30am-5:30pm schedule
- Occasional evenings and weekends availability
