Job Summary
Assist the Community Manager in overseeing financial and operational facets of the community by performing accounting and bookkeeping tasks, preparing monthly close-out and financial reports, processing invoices, collecting rent and other payments, completing bank deposits, and reconciling accounts. Operate property management software (Yardi/OneSite/Entrata), review resident files and accounting records, enforce leases and collect delinquent balances, manage vendor invoices and payments, and support evictions and move-outs in compliance with procedures. Provide on-site supervision in the manager’s absence, coordinate with maintenance, support leasing and marketing efforts, and communicate with owners regarding performance and resident needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Communications, or related field
- 1-3 years minimum of relevant experience in residence life and/or property management that demonstrates the application of community management, sales, marketing, and customer service background sufficient to assist in managing the day-to-day operations of an apartment community, resolve customer complaints and issues, complete financial records, documents, and reports, increase sales revenues, and coordinate the work of a team.
- Understanding of lease terms and lease enforcement, including collections.
