Job Summary
Oversee leasing operations for LIHTC and HUD Section 8 at an affordable housing community; manage wait lists and compliance programs, coordinate income verification and recertifications, perform accurate income/rent calculations, assist with accounts receivable/payable and vendor invoices, coordinate inspections and data processing, and provide excellent resident service while ensuring regulatory compliance and occupancy goals. Requires strong knowledge of tax credit housing, Fair Housing laws, and LIHTC/Section 8 regulations, with experience leveraging software tools (e.g., One-Site) and superior communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of Property Management Experience
- 3+ years' experience in Tax Credit (LIHTC) compliance, HUD Section 8 compliance, certification and recertification
- Must hold a certification related to affordable housing or compliance, such as TCS or COS
- Excellent customer service orientation
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, One-Site Property Management Software and Internet
- 3 years recertification experience or professional certification such as Certified Occupancy Specialist and LIHTC/Section 8 designations
