Job Summary
Assistant Community Manager assists the Community Manager with leasing, marketing, resident relations, and financial operations on the property. Responsibilities include attracting and screening prospective residents, developing and executing marketing campaigns, processing rent deposits and deposits administration, maintaining budgetary guidelines, overseeing accounts payable, and utilizing maintenance software to track service requests. The role requires excellent attendance, strong written and oral communication, and the ability to build lasting relationships with residents and staff. Travel may be necessary to conduct property business. Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends is expected. Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent. Experience: minimum one year property management experience preferred; experience with affordable housing, Tax Credit, HUD, and Rural Development preferred. Proficiency in customer service and computer literacy, and ability to step in as Acting Community Manager if needed.
