Job Summary
Supports and assists the Community Manager in overseeing financial and operational facets of the apartment community by completing accounting and bookkeeping tasks, preparing monthly close-out and financial reports, processing invoices and payables, collecting rent and other payments, completing bank deposits, and reconciling accounts. Uses property management software (Yardi/OneSite) to record, track, and report financial activity; reviews resident files for unpaid balances and delinquencies, enforces leases to maximize revenue, and coordinates vendor payments. Handles move-outs, evictions processes, and assists in leasing and marketing efforts; acts as on-site supervisor in the Community Manager’s absence and supports owner relations and resident satisfaction. Requires 1-3 years of relevant experience in property management, strong communication, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years minimum of relevant experience in residence life and/or property management
- understanding of lease terms and lease enforcement, including collections
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- detail-oriented and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as a collaborative member of a team
- valid driver’s license to drive a golf cart on property
- proficiency in property management software (Yardi, OneSite, Entrata, etc.)
