Assistant Community Manager

Job Summary

Greet prospects, process applications, manage leases and renewals, handle rent collections, and enforce lease terms while tracking fees. Show apartments, close sales, prepare units for move-ins, and obtain resident signatures on paperwork. Respond promptly to complaints and requests to promote resident satisfaction, conduct market research, and maintain an active social media presence. Follow eviction procedures, including notice requirements and court representation, when necessary. Complete all necessary paperwork for generating leases, move-ins, and check-outs in a timely manner. This role is based onsite at an apartment community with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least one year of experience in customer service or apartment leasing
  • A background in accounting combined with customer service is also preferred
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Project Management
  • Must be able to read documents, computer screens and data
  • Must be able to hear and understand verbal communications in person and over the phone or computer
  • Must be able to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse and other office equipment
  • Valid driver's license is preferred
  • Employment with RPM Living is contingent upon successful completion of a background check as local and federal state requires
  • RPM Living participates in E-Verify

Desired Qualifications

  • A background in accounting combined with customer service is also preferred
  • A valid driver's license is preferred; candidates without a license will be provided a liability waiver
