Assistant Community Manager

Job Summary
Greet and qualify prospects using guest cards, assist with applications and deposits, and process applications including credit checks and rental history verification. Manage lease renewals, handle move-outs, and initiate evictions when needed to ensure financial compliance. Promote resident satisfaction by responding to complaints and maintaining an active social media presence for property visibility. Conduct market research by surveying competing properties and update property management software with move-in/out data. Show apartments, close sales, and prepare units for move-ins while obtaining resident signatures on paperwork. Complete all necessary paperwork for leases and check-outs in a timely manner.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least one year of experience in customer service or apartment leasing
- A background in accounting combined with customer service is also preferred
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Project Management
- Must be able to read documents, computer screens and data
- Must be able to hear and understand verbal communications in person and over the phone or computer
- Must be able to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse and other office equipment
- A flexible schedule is required and hours include weekdays, nights, and weekends (including Saturdays and Sundays) as needed to meet business needs
- Employment with RPM Living is contingent upon successful completion of a background check as local and federal state requires
- A valid driver's license is preferred; candidates without a license will be provided a liability waiver
