Assistant Community Manager

Job Summary
Greet and qualify prospects using guest cards, process applications and deposits while adhering to Fair Housing requirements, and show apartments to close sales. Manage lease renewals, handle move-outs, and track rental collections, initiating evictions when necessary for financial compliance. Respond promptly to resident complaints and service requests to maintain satisfaction, conduct market research on competing properties, and maintain an active social media presence. Complete all necessary paperwork for leases, move-ins, and check-outs in a timely manner. This role requires a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and Saturdays, with onsite duties that may involve exposure to elements and confined spaces.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least one year of experience in customer service or apartment leasing
- A background in accounting combined with customer service is also preferred
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Project Management
- Must be able to read documents, computer screens and data
- Must be able to hear and understand verbal communications in person and over the phone or computer
- Must be able to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse and other office equipment
- A flexible schedule is required and hours include weekdays, nights, and weekends (including Saturdays and Sundays) as needed to meet business needs
- Employment with RPM Living is contingent upon successful completion of a background check as local and federal state requires
- A valid driver's license is preferred; candidates without a license will be provided a liability waiver
