Job Summary
Greet prospects, process applications, manage leases and renewals, handle rent collections and evictions, and promote resident satisfaction through social media and direct communication. Qualify leads using guest cards, assist with deposits, show apartments, close sales, and prepare units for move-ins while obtaining resident signatures. Manage lease renewals, enforce lease terms, track fees, and initiate eviction proceedings as needed. Conduct market research by surveying competing properties and updating property management software. Maintain an active social media presence to enhance visibility and respond promptly to resident complaints and requests. Complete all necessary paperwork for leases, move-ins, and check-outs in a timely manner.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least one year of experience in customer service or apartment leasing
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Project Management
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time while working at a desk
- Must be able to climb stairs
- Must be able to read documents, computer screens and data
- Must be able to hear and understand verbal communications in person and over the phone or computer
- Must be able to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse and other office equipment
- Flexible schedule including weekdays, nights, and weekends (including Saturdays and Sundays)
Desired Qualifications
- A background in accounting combined with customer service
