Job Summary
Create a positive, welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and community associates while assisting the Community Manager with leasing, marketing, and resident relations. Compute, classify, and record numerical data to maintain complete financial records, including rent collection, security deposit administration, and vendor compliance monitoring. Develop and execute marketing campaigns, prepare the annual operating budget, and mediate landlord-tenant disputes as needed. Utilize maintenance software to track service requests, inspect units for move-in and turnover conditions, and ensure property grounds and amenities remain clean and maintained. Work flexible schedules including evenings and weekends, travel for property business, and act as acting Community Manager when required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Minimum of one year property management experience preferred
- Experience in affordable housing, Tax Credit, HUD and/or Rural Development preferred
- Must be able to access all areas of the propertys grounds and structures, including multilevel structures, with or without the aid of an elevator
- Work with a computer for a minimum of 7 hours daily either standing or sitting
- Must have a government issued state ID, or valid driver's license if required by Management based on location/property or business needs
- Work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
- Travel for the purpose of conducting property business
- Work under multiple time constraints
- Computer literacy
- Excellent customer service skills
- Demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills
- Able to step in as acting Community Manager if the need arises
