Job Summary
Assistant Community Manager part-time initially, with a plan to transition to part-time after the bulk of work is completed, supporting the Community Manager in leasing, marketing, resident relations, and financial-record keeping. Responsibilities include preparing leases and addendums, maintaining tenant and rental files, processing rent receipts and delinquency measures, assisting with renewal and retention programs, and generating reports. Requires strong customer service, professional communication, and the ability to oversee staff in leasing-related tasks; familiarity with LIHTC/HUD regulations and Fair Housing Act, and proficiency with property-management software (e.g., Yardi/RealPage OneSite). Schedule supports a weekend-structured workweek and flexibility for evenings as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree highly preferred
- 1-2 years affordable housing leasing experience
- Experience budgeting and community cost control
- Knowledge of LIHTC/HUD programs and Fair Housing Regulations
- Property Management Certification (ARM, CAM, etc.) preferred
